X-Plane on Macbook?
Ok, I really do not want good graphics, All I need is a simulator to practice maneuvers of tools for real life flight. I have a Macbook (NOT PRO) with: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. Intel GMA X3100: Chipset Model: GMA X3100 Type: Display Bus: Built from the VRAM (Total): 144 MB Vendor: Intel (0×8086) Device ID: 0x2a02 Revision ID: 0×0003 Displays: Now … I installed the demo version of the game and works perfect, but when I called the Apple store, even though the guy had no idea what he was talking, I said it's really different from the actual game. Really I need this, so any help is appreciated. These are the system requirements for MAC copied from the SIM website: G4 or G5 or Intel 2 GHz + RAM: 1 GB 3D card speed: OpenGL … NVIDIA has been more reliable VRAM: 32 mcg if not possible, any help and ideas are appreciated too!
Lots of good information about the Xplane www.x-plane.org forums Here is a conversation from a person in your situation: It seems like most http://forums.x-plane.org/lofiversion/index.php/t26332.html problem could be the graphics cards in Macbooks are not the greatest, but hopefully with touches of the configuration, you should be able to use it his book.
