No racing games seem shallow to you? There is no story or plot for them?
I do not like racing games. And they are certainly much better of what not long ago. (Remember how he acted, slipping and sliding as if on ice), but it seems as if you are simply trying to beat another person across the finish line or a race against a time limit to reach somewhere. I have no connection to high-speed Internet, so I have not done any online play with others. Is that where the real value is in them? Competing with others? only really ever played satisfy entirely. I like to check out demos of new racing games, but I'm not really interested in them enough to buy a full game. In addition, Why not make more use of mirrors in racing games? No racing cars have mirrors in them? That would add much more to the game. Seeing cars competing behind you in a side mirror or something like that? Or are the racing games with mirrors? Did not noticed any so far.
I agree I just bought forza 2, played on it for a couple of weeks and also on Xbox Live, but I feel like you need more history. Even bored quickly online! However, people can disagree, as they may think racing games with a story would spoil the whole point of the action and drive fast pace!
