demo games on computer
Will my graphics card too basic to play computer games? DirectX compatible?

I recently got an old computer from a friend – I tried to play two demos of computer games but have not been worked (FEAR and Medal of Honor Pacific assault) My graphics card is an Intel 82845g/ge/pe/gv

The simple answer to your question is YES …. and No. Let me explain. 82845g/ge/pe/gv Intel is a graphics driver. A lack of complete specifications or a year for his team, I will assume that this is a building in the graphics card on the motherboard and probably no more than 64 MB of SHARED (not dedicated but shared) video memory. The graphics card is more than enough to play in the team …. Not only today's games such as fear or the Medal of Honor. (It may be able to actually run the game, but will have little or no play or enjoy because no optimization) That said, if this is built into the graphics card in the system. I imagine that the processor, memory / bus speed, etc might be lacking as well … So not only runs when you buy a new graphics card and throw in. You could be in the operating and improving all the time.
