Is there a way to get beyond the expiration of a probationary period of programs, changing the date on your comp.?
I have the demo of a program called MixVibes has just expired, but I remember reading about a way to overcome this by setting back the date of your computer. I just I tried, but it didn't work so Im thinking it might have been something I forgot to do. Nobody else knows how to do this? PS Before you start posting comments I said that just bought the program, I have the intention to buy, since the demo is very limited, but necessary to save the $ 200 it costs.
No, is unusual. Once the software is installed on a machine puts a time stamp encoded in the system log, counting the days until the software expires. The registry key can theoretically remove and reinstall the software, but most copy protection systems do a very good job of hiding the key and carrying out multiple copies. If you are really serious about software piracy, there are other ways, I will not go for obvious reasons.
