Help 4.2U Wii Hacks?
I followed this guide to the part B, and then got stuck: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-guides-tutorials-only/24630-full-hacking-guide-4-2-system-menus . html only reason I decided to do this is because my hard fight broke recently and I wanted to use a new copy. However, after fight, decided not to. Was there anything before the wii B permenately change my software? I hope not: (Now, I'm thinking of buying a legitimate copy of Super Mario Galaxy 2, but I fear that when I load it in the disc channel, I'll have to update (I'm 4.2U). Is it possible to load the game through Gecko OS and has just begun game (without modification) without upgrading? I avoid using things like priiloader now I'm confused. Note, I do not want to back up, I want to be able to buy a real copy without updating and possibly bricking my wii. The help is much appreciated!
You just did nothing. . . all we did was literally install the Homebrew Channel – did not change anything on the Wii and did just what qualifies as hacking – so there is nothing to worry about. You can buy a legitimate copy of Mario Galaxy 2 and updating properly. *** Even if you DID hack your Wii completely, you still can not update and brick … people are brickwork their wii much less often now (like the 360 is getting the RRoD much less now), but the scare has been blocked in the town that everyone thinks it will be brick if they are updated. . . you do not – is simply the loss of all their hacks .*** If you have further questions, you should ask where more people Wiihacks who are willing and able to help you – here, most people simply "screaming" for trying to hack your Wii in the first place.
